Meet Dr. Babineaux
Dr. Jennifer Babineaux graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She completed an internal medicine residency at VCA East Bay Veterinary Specialists in 2009, where she focused on ultrasound and cardiology. Following her residency, she worked for 4 years at the San Francisco SPCA providing internal medicine, ultrasound and cardiology services at the combined shelter and public hospital. During this time Dr. Babineaux developed an interest in feline medicine and became an ABVP Diplomate (Feline). Dr. Babineaux joined the internal medicine team of VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists in 2013, and moved to Philadelphia in 2014, where she started her mobile ultrasound practice. Dr. Babineaux moved to Ashland Oregon in 2019.
Dr. Babineaux has worked extensively with boarded internists, surgeons, oncologists and other specialists. Dr. Babineaux lectures nationally on the topic of feline ultrasound, and presents webinars in partnership with Royal Canin several times a year. She is also an Associate Editor on the Diagnostic Imaging Board of VIN.
Dr. Babineaux advocates for the routine use of ultrasound to diagnose challenging internal medicine cases.
